Jurij Korybut, space cadet

So, I've been properly story-boarding my pics from Night Cafe, and improving on them, there and as post work, to make a proper graphic novel.

Thoughts?

Foreword

This book arose more or less as a joke with my beta readers, following a series of books I had written called ‘The Korybut Chronicles’ which started in 1645 and became an alternate timeline.

A fascination with the Polish Winged Hussars [courtesy of the heavy metal group, Sabaton] led to reading the great Polish classic, Henryk Sienkiewicz’s ‘Trylogia’ and the thought experiment of what if Jurko Bohun had an illustrious father who acknowledged him, and got the girl who appealed to him for aid before she was frightened by his temper… and it grew into a trilogy with a spinoff [or possibly more.] And essentially, by circumventing the hammering Poland took in the 17th century it becomes a world power and influenced England into taking up with electing kings after the death of Oliver Cromwell and the farce his son made of the Commonwealth such that America had representation and so never rebelled… and what happened if these two superpowers collaborated in space research, and Jurij Korybut as a concept was born.

I started doing the storyboarding and then drawing, and it was eating time I could not afford to lose… and then I discovered AI art at Night Café, where you can also now specify characters.

  1. Looks good to me although Jurij's eyes are a bit odd looking.
