I've held forth about vol 1 and how useful it is; this is vol II and covers harnes, carriages, a history of carriages, types thereof, accidents that can happen and the cost of fixing them, coaching, coaching inns and the major inns in London. It was going to be a three volume series but Heather has decided that a four vol series will enable her to get it all in - the next volume will be looking at the coach roads.
