I may not be online much, I had the mother and father of all abdominal migraine bouts yesterday and I thing I threw up my toenails. i'm left with a headache and a mouth like a parrot cage and belly ache so I am living on water today and hoping to sleep the rest of it off.
As you can see, I had trouble getting Pilsner to be consistent.

Wih all due respect to Jurij and the Academy teacher officer, if the issue is bullying or complaint about violence/disrespect (whatever Pilsner made his complaint about), it should be investigated and not brushed aside because of either ability/performance or connections/money. It's great that Jurij and Vicky can outbid Jared on either ground, but it's not justice.
ReplyDeleteAh, I was trying to convey that Jurij was assuring him that the academy would not lose funding if Pilsner senior withdrew his portion so they did not feel constrained to ignore junior's bullying. And no, it should not be brushed aside but it happens. it's a note that not everything is perfect....
DeleteI'm so sorry to hear about your migraine! I hope you get better soon!
ReplyDeletethank you; feeling a lot better today, but sticking to a diet of water.
DeleteYipes! No fun... Glad you're feeling better!
ReplyDeleteBackground introduction feels a bit forced but comics are rather like windsailing between Scilla and Charybdis in that respect.
Many thanks! yes, it was a bad one.
DeleteAny suggestions on that gladly accepted. it's a good description!
Humor helps a lot. Not exactly a suggestion but my favorite example is The Dreamberry Tales issue of Wendy and Richard Pini's classic Elfquest where two small parties meet up after a separation and need to exchange rather a lot of information that we the reader will need. Personalities, high test drinkables
Deleteand a bucket load of humor make for a delightful and highly rereadable result...
oh my, it's a long time since I read that. Wendy and Richard had such a light touch. Humour is essential.
