Too Many White Roses now live
so, the next Felicia and Robin book is live in pb and ebook.
Referencing earlier books in this series, it is Henry VIII's birthday today, and it was the anniversary of Mary Tudor's (his sister, dowager Empress of France and Duchess of Suffolk) death on 25 June. I hadn't realised that she married Charles Brandon when he was sent to collect her from France. No wonder the Brandons feature in your novels, Sarah! Barbara
it is? well, that's good timing that it was out in time. Poor Mary, married to a palsied old man by proxy and then having to wait until he died. Yes, her marriage to Charles Brandon was clandestine and hurried, and Henry was furious, but he came round in the end.
Congratulations! That was a very fine addition to the series!
ReplyDeleteMany thanks! we're proofing The Absent Assassin.
DeleteAgreed!

Congratulations, I'm looking forward to reading it in bed tonight. Mary D
ReplyDeletethank you, enjoy!
DeleteI just thought I'd mention: this post is mistakenly labelled with the label "Brandon Scandals" :-)
ReplyDelete... I blame the cats? Going to sort it, it should be background information!
