Yes, I had a go at making some filigree faux carved ivory furniture, hence the white chair, and now when i talk about lyre tables, you'll have a mental picture!
I am struggling to wrap a second novella/long short story for Jane, which acquired a life of its own but I need to have each bit of braided novel neat, if that makes sense. but yes, I am having fun while thinking, with dolls house stuff, and I might have picked up a load of Larry and Stretch westerns cheap which I might be reading instead of working...
These pesky characters, just insisting on having their own way! Good luck with wrangling them into order, would it be worth asking them if they actually wish their story to be published?. Enjoy the reading too, you deserve downtime to enjoy someone else's writing, after providing such good reading matter for others. Barbara
it did set me up for a new plot which grew out of the intrusive and stroppy characters. I have to say my mind works overtime on wondering if any of the plots can adapt to Jane and Caleb... anyway, as you may see, I finished the middle novella of three and have begun posting!
Lovely!

DeleteI particularly liked the chess/draughts table. My parents had a similar one, in various shades of brown, and it took me right back to my childhood.

Now that pleases me no end! I made a number of marble chess boards to set into tables. I'm puzzled how to make chess pieces though!
DeleteI am constantly amazed at your talents
ReplyDeletethank you!
DeleteI trust that you are well, and enjoying making dolls house furniture or catching up on your writing. If not, get well soon, Sarah.
