These are brilliant. I love the clocks. My favourite is the naked ladies (1920s?) one. The paintings are very clever and the thoroughbred portrait really caught my eye. The ‘Victorian collections’ must have taken ages and are so real size life like. I am so impressed. Thanks for sharing.
thank you! They do have leotards on, but it's hard to see- they are jewellery charms! I'm glad you like the thoroughbred, I do find horses hard at any scale, especially being constrained to a very small canvas! I am going to be changing the way I do butterflies, these were left over from when I had the eyesight and small motor control to paint them by hand on a piece of stiffened silk, which I used for strength. However, thanks to YouTube, I know now how to turn any paper into the consistency of parchment/vellum as used by embossers, so I've been messing around with that, and I think it's good enough to use for butterflies on plants and dragonflies on ponds. I make fossils from odd bits of leftover polymer clay which has got mixed and muddy;t or left-over milliput from making masters to cast from. the semi-precious gems are from the wastage from tumbling larger ones, which are sold on Ebay. However, I have been experimenting with the various clays, and I have been making geode slices, which is really exciting!
*stares in awe*
ReplyDeleteas you can see, I've been having great fun, and as you might guess I discovered nail decals, and more to the point I discovered how to make my own.

ReplyDeletethank you! I'm collecting pics too for the book of dollshousing from junk
