Right, some of us have been warned that something called Google+ is closing. Now I don't know if this means that Blogger is also closing. I have been copying all my articles off the Regency and Renaissance Rummage Repository just in case and I have written to Google asking for clarification on this matter.
If anyone knows anything more definitive, in case Google customer support decides not to bother to get back to me, please tell me what you know!
I am not going to bother to set up a wordpress blog if they aren't going to take Blogger down, but it is something to be aware of. If things go horrendously pear shaped, I will post new sites on my Facebook page. If you aren't on facebook, I suspect you probably have my email address anyway or know how to contact me through fanfiction. If you fall outside of all of those, let me know.
They said too few people are using this Google+ and I cannot see that blogger is under-used.

ReplyDeleteit is Google plus, and I have no idea what that means, I didn't even know i was a customer of Google plus, so what is going to happen is anyone's guess!
DeleteI went to the Blogger Buzz under the Community section at the bottom of your main page. After reading through the comments it looks like Blogger is not going away, but all your comments might be gone soon. Lots of talk about archiving, but goodness, they did not give you much time to save everything! Sounds quite confusing. I love all your work, and can't wait the read the published versions of Bess!
